The deals are only available for one day, but sometimes people decide to try for a few days and then purchase later. All purchases are made directly through the developer and then the developer pays Bits du Jour a commission for each discounted sale. Bits du Jour sets up the promotion page and takes care of the tracking.
Under new ownership this year, they also offer an affiliate program and pay out 50% of the earned commission to affiliate sites.
